Information about SF Spirits Comp The 2016 Competition was held on March 17th to 20th at Hotel Nikko, San Francisco. All entrants have been notified of their results by e-mail. All winners of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Double Gold medals will receive award certificates and corresponding medallions in July. THE LARGEST AND MOST RESPECTED JUDGING DEVOTED TO CRAFT SPIRITS ADI accepts entries in all classes and categories of craft spirits from small, independently owned distillers, blenders, bitters makers, and producers of aperitif & fortified wines. Each year, both US and international entries are tasted blind and evaluated by our expert panels of judges made up of distillers, journalists, bar owners, bartenders, retailer, wholesalers, distributors and importers. All spirits entered will receive written tasting notes and be considered for awards both for the spirit and the packaging. During registration, entrants can choose to purchase professional bottle image(s) of any of the spirits entered and entrants can submit one or more of their registered spirits for testing and receive a certificate of chemical analysis which is valid for all major retailers, most countries import/export and tender purposes.
