L.A. Spirits Awards

L.A. Spirits Awards was conceived in 2019 by Nicolette Teo and Joel Blum, who after working together in the competition business for many years realized the need for a new competition paradigm—one that would go beyond the mere awarding of medals. Chilled Awards

The Chilled Awards, presented by Chilled Media, delivers timely, credible recognition from the industry’s true tastemakers—the professionals behind the bar. Unlike traditional competitions, The Chilled Awards operate on a dynamic rolling schedule. Entries are evaluated monthly, year-round, by an exclusive blind-tasting panel made up entirely of working bartenders, certified spirits and wine professionals, sommeliers, beverage directors, and owners. We are pleased to invite your winery to participate in our upcoming annual New York International Wine Competition. What sets us apart from other international beverage competitions is our TRADE ONLY blind judging panel, and the wine industry has continued to take notice. At our wine competition held here in New York City, the retail store buyer, sommelier, restaurant beverage director, hotelier, distributor and importer will be our judges. We feel that these judges, whose livelihood rely upon their skill set, truly know what the consumer wants, as they receive on a daily basis the feedback from the consumer of what is good and what will sell.
