Chuck Squires of Vici Wine and Spirits contacted Wesley Black with First in Print regarding an upcoming trade show in Las Vegas. This was not just any trade show. This was the 67th Annual Convention and Exposition held by the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America. Chuck wanted to represent his brands in a unique and professional way. After a few short discussions and some time spent going over the many options, a plan was hatched.
We were to print 11 sign boards, representing various brands, affixed to a PVC substrate to avoid damage during transport. Wesley had suggested 12″ diameter round signs featuring the Vici logo. Chuck wanted two of these printed. Finally, a total of 7 custom dye sublimated table runners featuring Vici and represented brand logos were to be produced.
The WSWA convention and expo was rapidly approaching, so there was no time to waste. The First in Print sign specialists worked out the details. The team quickly created all of the graphics and ensured that all logos were going to print correctly. These layouts were emailed to Chuck and Mike at Vici Wine and Spirits. They were on the road at the time, but were able to approve the artwork using their mobile phones!
Once approved, the artwork was sent to production. A few short days later, the order was shipped with a day or two to spare! We don’t like to pat ourselves on the back, but we must admit that these signs and table runners turned out beautifully!! See for yourself.

Fuel Multimedia, a Jacksonville, Florida based design firm has announced that they will be launching a subsidiary called First in Print.
For over 6 years now, Fuel Multimedia has offered a plethora of products and services for small and medium sized business. Fuel Multimedia has provided custom web design, branding and logo services, graphic layouts, full color printing, video editing and composites – even audio production for radio broadcast.
Over the years, Fuel has narrowed their focus a bit and primarily offers custom web design as well as graphic layouts, logos and branding services. Now, Fuel is going to further narrow their focus and direct all graphic design and print related work to their new subsidiary.
First in Print is going to hit the ground running with a base of operations in Jacksonville, FL and a satellite office in Chicago, IL. The official launch date for First in Print is dependent upon completion of their website, FirstinPrint.com but is estimated to be in the beginning of November, 2009.
President of Fuel Multimedia, Wesley Black had this to say about the exciting new sister company. “First in Print is an idea I actually came up with nearly 3 years ago when first noticing the influx of web design jobs we were doing.
